The client in this project was SOCAR and BP. Bechtel was design contractor. I was hired from Enka Construction to Bechtel. Scope : Engineering, procurement, installation of medium voltage distribution system ( 86 no medium voltage substation with its associated medium voltage switchgear, 11kv/0.4 kv medium voltage transformer ) , high voltage distribution network ( 132 kv gas insulated switchgear , 132/11 kv power transformers ), generator plant ( 11 kv diesel generators ), power management system, automation systems, SCADA, fuel hydrant control and monitoring system, fiber optic network Responsibilities ? Development of medium voltage distribution system, high voltage distribution system, power management system, SCADA detailed design. ? Verification of calculations ( short circuit study, cable sizing, load flow studies ) ? Review of substation, primary station layout drawings. ? Review of high voltage switchgear switching interlocks, single line diagram, material approval submittals. ? Integration of power management system SCADA, Chiller plant control and monitoring system SCADA, fuel hydrant control and monitoring system with Airport SCADA. ? Creation of request for information documents.
