? Local and regional procurement.
? International / Foreign Procurement and Logistics.
? Setting of Procurement and Logistics procedures.
? Responsible for management of all Procurement and Logistics activities to support Company Operations in both the office and the sites.
? Purchase / Rental of Heavy equipments, Machineries in close coordination with Plant department..
? Expediting and timely delivery of goods, equipments and services to the site.
? Improving the on-going services to the Company in terms of cost, quality and delivery from vendors for the required products and services to support Company Operations locally and in the region.
? Planning the most economic utilisation of Field Base Warehouse facilities for storing equipment/materials and the distribution of inventory.
? Interacting and coordinating with all other functional heads, departments and clients for all requirements
? Ensuring that all Procurement & Logistics documentation processes are transparent, with all documentation being available for audit.
? Planning the assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and resources.
? Assisting in preparation of tenders with latest updates of the markets rates and availability of goods / equipment and services.
? Determining Inventory level, placing orders and checking shipments for clearance and timely delivery to warehouse / directly to the sites.
? Arranging Imports and Exports of material, small and heavy equipment?s and services
? Planning the company transportation / local transporters, tracking of the AIR / SEA and LAND shipments..
? Arrange and follow up Customs clearance of shipments at Sea port / Airport / and at all the borders for import / export of material and equipment?s to various projects in the region..
? Liaising with various Ministries for importing and clearance of Marine vessels (Tugs & barges) heavy equipments and material.
? Ensuring compliance with Company and local Governmental policies and procedures.
? Crewing of Marine crafts as per minimum safe manning per vessel ? selection of crew / review of documents and obtaining crew NTA licenses.
? Liaising with immigration, coast guards, customs & ports for clearance of marine craft / boats.
? Marine Crew sign ON and sign OFF from the vessel
? Mobilisation & Demobilisation of sites.
