? Assisting the vessels chartering managers in fixture inquiries or procedures as required. ? All commercial communications between the Master, Owners, Brokers and the Technical Managers. ? Instructing and guiding Masters as appropriate (in consultation with the Technical Managers as required) in the efficient prosecution of a voyage as per the charter party requirements. ? Appointing agents as appropriate for all cargo, bunker or strictly commercial voyage port calls and arranging port cost finding as required. ? Handling P&I cargo related claims and all defense club matters. ? Monitoring the vessels commercial performance against the charter party requirements including speed, consumption, cargo carriage and port performance, and investigating any short falls in these with the Master or Technical Managers. ? All financial matters pertaining to voyage costs, including but not limited to: Freight invoicing and recovery Demurrage claims and recovery Miscellaneous commercial claims and recovery Hire invoicing and recovery ? Maintaining the commercial operations records up to date for the vessels.. ? All commercial reporting pertaining to the vessel operation. ? Liaising with the Accounts Department in all aspects of commercial accounting. ? Chartering responsibilities, negotiation while substituting Chartering persons
