?Sourcing and requesting samples of new material for Menu Presentations/Tender/RFQ?s for both Airline and Starbucks customer.
?Sourcing contractors/vendors and prepares & processes requisition and purchase orders for capital expenditures.
?Prepares and submits Capital Projects requests for upcoming year and Capital budgets numbers.
?Sourcing vendors for assessments of equipments and obtaining assessment reports and quotation for Preventative Maintenance Programs. (e.g.: HVAC & plumbing, electrical etc.)
?Strategic sourcing and managing board line distribution contract ensuring contractual compliance
?Negotiates with suppliers to determine the product availability and terms of sales and deals with any vendor/contractor issues and supplies resolution.
?Increased supplier rebates by 0.3% of total spend per goal set. In 2014 total spend was $18.6 Million.
?Reduced Inventory variance as per business plan 2014 to below $250K. In Dec 2014 inventory variance was $134,391.30
?Drive projects on non-food items to reduce costs.
?Maintaining SAP/material codes, standard costs, pack sizes and vendor material number in Outline Agreement in SAP system.
?Liaise with Menu Development team to ensure the product on the recipe in CBase program coordinates with that on SAP and the Order Guide.
?Working with Halal Consultant to ensure the material received from suppliers is Halal/Halal compliant. If a product received is a Non-Halal Product then Store Room is advised to handle, segregate & and store the product accordingly.
?Liaise with production team to ensure the raw material product specifications are up to standards and as required.
?Prepare RFP and Financial Analysis, reports requiring Finance.
?Conferring with internal customers to coordinate activities that ensure continuous product availability.
?Recruiting and training of purchasing/warehouse staff.
?Manages, develops, coaches & trains, 4 direct and 10 indirect reports.
