I was responsible for the design and production of the drawings from the conception to the "FOR CONSTRUCTION" drawings for the builder to construct. The process will involve the sourcing of the properties working with the property consultant, planner and the Radio Frequency Engineer from the Client representative to find the best locations to meet the client objective and meet the property owner and council requirements. The locations can be on the ground, building rooftop or walls, monopole or lattice tower, light poles on sports ground or street lighting or any possible structures that suitable for the installation.

This company was form to market and assemble the heating elements to suit any products that required continuous low heating between 25 to 70 degrees Centigrade using special non metallic heating elements run in 12V or 240 Volt power supply. Typical applications such as heating pad for animals, Baby milk bottles warmer, food warmers etc. I was responsible for the office management with a multi task to include the financial planning and control, pay-rolls, answering all the inquiries and provide quotes to clients, general administration and at the same time control the assembly production of the heating elements and to the final products. Each element shall be individually tested and meet the Australian Standards.

This company was part of the L&M Group of Company in Singapore involve in Civil and Structural building construction as a specialist sub-contractor. L&M Proceq was involve in the manufacturing and installation of mechanical Bridge bearing and Laminated pad bearing. I was responsible for the design, quality controlled, testing the finished product before delivery to site and also for the installation of these bearings. The main project involved more than 8000 bearings for the construction of the MRT elevated structure in Singapore running from Geylang to Pasir Ris. Other bridges in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. SPECIAL PROJECT Supervision of the fabrication, installation and commissioning of the launching girder for the construction of the Singapore Mass Rapids Transit system (MRT) in Singapore. The Launching Girder lifting capacity of 180 tons for lifting the concrete girder for the overhead railway line. The Girder was designed by the principal company and fabricated in Singapore. I was responsible for managing and coordination with the fabricator, overlooking the process including the inspection to ensure they are built as per the design. Inspect, Test and analyse the welding work using 3 different test (visual, MPI and X-ray) at random location during the fabrication stages. Supervising the transportation to site and temporary storage location, erection to the allocated piers locations and commissioning including the load test to specified loads and the operation of the launching Girder during the construction.

L&M Prestressing Pte Ltd is part of the L&M Group of Company. This company involve in the design and installation of the prestressing tendon in building structures. As in the earliest day, not many company familiar with the prestressing system in Singapore, this company came out with the alternative design using the prestressed system which can save in building cost and the construction time.as well as the ease of the construction compare with the conventional construction using the reinforcement bars. I was responsible for the design, documentation and producing the installation drawings as well as supervising the installation on site and stressing the tendons. The tensioning records to be checked to confirm the forced was achieved as designed. The project involves including the multi-storey office building, multistorey factory building for Hewlett Packard, shopping Centres, General Post office building in Kuala Lumpur, Grand- Stand cantilever support beam at Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Auditorium, Cement Silos, bridges etc.

L&M Slipforming Pte Ltd was part of the L&M group of Companies in Singapore. This company involved in the construction using the slipform system for the vertical part of the structures such as core of the building for the lift shaft and stair well, silos construction etc. I started with the involvement in the operation on site, operate the control and movement of the form to ensure they go up vertically. At later date, I involved in the design and documentation for setting and arrangement of the form to particular shape of the core and the distribution of the lifting jacks to spread up the load equally on the form.
