Oversee daily activities of the production floor including all departments. · Leads and directs plant personnel to uphold all facets of the manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training supervisors and staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining personnel; addressing complaints and resolving problems · Helps manage production costs and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division. · Schedule daily requirements for production schedule. · Coordinate projects and machinery upgrades with staff and management. · Make sure all scheduled work is completed in a safe and orderly manner for all employees. · Coordinate all training classes as needed for all staff. · Track all staff employees of attendance, performance and disciplinary actions. · Work with all departments to ensure proper ordering of materials for production. · Help in the coordination of training classes for Quality, Safety and Performance Training. · Document ALL issues outside the guidelines of established programs to ensure all product is ran to standard.
