1. Financial administration duties for the department, including requisitions, goods receipts,
month-end reconciliation and reporting, (Kuala Financial Systems) etc.
2. Logistics: Procurement and maintenance activities to ensure efficient functioning of the
office infrastructure, including;
? Arranging the technical set up of conference meetings via Adobe Connect
? Arrangements for travel and accommodation for the staff.
? Assist with the logistics for Job Evaluations
3. Temporary Fixed-Term position administration: Perform all administration; create new
positions, Verify the position grade and names, Create new position names, jobs and
numbers on Oracle.
4. Assist with administration of permanent position management if required; Creating and
changing position details, Movement of positions between OE?s, Freezing and closure of positions.
5. Occupational Health and Safety and Building Representative and execute all relevant
activities.

1. Assisting with Organograms for different departments within the Organisation, (Organisational Restructuring).
2. Assistance and Knowledge of Organisations Functions and the process of developing
Organisational Entities.
3. Developing Folders, adding Documents and Co-ordination on the SHARE Environment
4. HR Oracle ? Drawing Reports for all Vacant Positions.
5. Participation in Job Evaluation Processes.
6. Recording of Remuneration benefits: Individual Remuneration Revisions, Merit Bonuses, Performance and Management Bonuses.
7. General Administrative Duties (Sorting, Filing of documents, E-filing system)
8. Assisting with the South African STATS Report. (Remuneration Section)
9. Participation in HEMIS Academic Timesheet Process within the University.
2013-2014
1. Participated in feedback of Psychometric assessments for Recruitment and Training purposes
2. Participation in career development sessions for existing staff and induction sessions for new employees
3. Use questionnaires and surveys in consultation with Skills Development Facilitator and staff to analyse training needs as they relate to the goals of the organisation and work area.
4. Developed a survey which is being distributed to various personnel on the NWU campuses, with regard to the psychometric assessments conducted at the Human Capital Development
office.
5. Assist in developing training interventions
6. Co-ordinate staff training programs based on organisational and employee needs
7. Arranging meetings/training sessions (GroupWise), which may involve sourcing experts to run sessions and the catering with regards to such
8. General Admin Duties and short listing candidates for the training sessions.
9. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using surveys,questionnaires, interviews an observation, in order to plan future courses or to amend existing one
10. Obtain information on work-related external courses, and make recommendations on staff attendance at training courses;
11. Record training outcomes on Excel; organising different training provider files, photocopying and filing application forms and invoices.
