? Participate in the team work of experts involved in the Regional IGAD-CAADP elaboration process;
? Identify and collect the framework documents relevant to natural resources management including water harvesting and control systems, riparian rights, management and utilization of shared water resources, fisheries, indigenous/wildlife conservation and management;
? Ensure the preparation of the Thematic Regional Report and the brief on NRM and contribute on NRM aspects to the preparation of the Regional IGAD CAADP compact document;
? Identify and analyze specific issues related to natural resources management that need to be discussed amongst IGAD members countries;
? Carry out missions in selected countries collaboratively with IGAD secretariat along with the National Coordinators, and write country-specific mission reports, focusing on pertinent recommendations for sustainability and natural equity;
? Identify priority areas and strategic options (policy) for natural resources management and prepare ? Thematic Regional Report on NRM?.
