? Maintain the requisition & repair status so as to ensure vessel and office record tally
? Ensure vessel mails are timely despatched to the convenient port every month
? Ensure all required chart for vessel?s next voyage are well connected before vessel departs from port
? Ensure all purchase order and repair order records along with the quotation attached are well maintain to prepare for any surprise audit by owner
? To vet and approve all invoices and credit note before passing to supdt in-charge for final approval
? To ensure monthly expenditure of vessel does not exceed the allocated budget.
? To ensure that stores/gases/chemicals etc. Are being supplied at the cheapest port during vessel voyage
? To prepare vessel for dry-dock and ensure that all spares are ready for delivery prior to vessel arrival at shipyard
? To keep track of individual vessel annuals and life-raft renewal and ensure that renewal is being done at least 1 month before expiry.
? Always in constant contact with vessel to ensure smooth operation and to advise vessel Captain on supply and budget issue so as to enable proper consumption of stores and spares on board the vessel.
? To function as a back-up superintendent in his absence
