At PIA I am engaged in performing all relevant duties of a Flight Operation Officer that are listed below
1. Meet flight on arrival and H/O Crew briefing (flight plan, weather, NOTAMS)
2. Co-ordinate different department including ramp, cargo and traffic regarding flights.
3. Filling and submitting the ATC flight plan for domestic & international flights.
4. Trip support to flights (including over fly permit, landing permits, ground handling arrangements, hotel arrangements etc.
5. Flight supervision of on-ground flights and all other function of flight operation departments.
6. Assist the crew on arrival and departure from immigration, custom and ANF.
7. Coordination with all agencies, like CAA, tower, pre-flight, GOC, immigrations and customs
8. Updating operations documents including jeppesen, NOTAMS, AIP, ANOS and SOP.
9. Work on Ms Outlook/AFTN/SITA systems, Monitored and supervised ground and flight activities to ensure compliance with established policies and directives
10. Arrival / departure MVT massages.
11. Supervision, coordination & handling of non-schedule flights as well as VVIP flights.
