I headed up McCann and reported to the principals of The Scanad Group. I also wrote for TBWA, Lowe and JWT (All part of the ScanAd Group). Responsibilities included developing the creative talent, selling the work, building relationships with clients and staying alive (my predecessor wasn?t so fortunate). Yep, it?s dangerous.

IPG: McCann Worldgroup, and directly with clients like Cadbury Kraft, Unilever. Today, I still operate my own business.

We dealt in ideas only. We won clients like Jetstar Airways, Nike, Burger King, Gillette, The Economist, Unilever and property developers. Our clients won at the register. We won at the award shows.

I went to Draft in Singapore to manage the Singapore Airlines Krisflyer account. I helped win the Health Promotion Board account. Draft merged with Lowe, so I worked with them too. We created award-winning campaigns for Anti-Smoking, Singapore Environment Council, Singtel Communications, OCBC, and Property Developers. We won at Cannes, One Show and CCAs. Lowe was named Agency of the Year.

After spending the previous six months in Papua New Guinea, TBWA Singapore was a refreshing change. I was brought in to salvage the OCBC bank account. Against all odds we retained the account. I joined full time and worked on Apple, Bic, Toyota, Qantas, Wing Tai (property and manufacturing) and Great Eastern Life. Promoted to the role of Creative Director, managed six creative teams, won awards and helped build the network in Asia. I went BateyAds-KL. 9/11 happened and I returned to Singapore.

Joined as a TV Producer and found myself rewriting scripts. I won accolades as a TV Producer, now it was time to shine as a writer. Graduated from The Copy School and became a writer at Monahan Dayman Adams. Over the next decade I honed my craft and won new business and awards, working at McCann, GPY&R, The Campaign Palace in Melbourne and Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney. Then began to travel and build brands around the globe.
