Housekeeping: Room Attendant
-Print arrival and departure list. Get welcome chocolates from accounts office for the arrival rooms (this chocolates is complimentary)
-clean late departure rooms (changing linen), and prepare arrival rooms for the day. With the necessary amenities.(the standard of the hotel)
-ironing of Restaurant napkins,
- I was responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the hotel are clean, neat and tidy. This included indoor and outdoor such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, mopping floors, changing and laundering linen of 40 Rooms and 5 Conference areas.
- Handle the Hotels appearance and cleanliness. Making sure ablution facilities are neat and tidy at all times.
-prepare the hand over for night-shift

- I was responsible for the Night-Shift
- Assigned duties, inspect work and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, as well as taking the correct action.
-Had to train housekeeping staff when they were hired for the night-shift.
- Responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the hotel are clean, neat and tidy. This included indoor and outdoor such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, mopping floors, changing and laundering linen of 40 Rooms and 5 Conference areas.
- TURN DOWNS ? this was a service that meant, closing of curtains and windows before sunset and turning beds down, with the bedside complimentary chocolate.
- making sure ablution facilities are neat and tidy at all times
-Supervised work activities of cleaning personnel, as well as doing the room attendant duties. Ensuring the rooms is clean, orderly and attractive for availability purposes and following day?s arrivals.
