To accept responsibility for the total acquisition service in the region for:
? Manages the resources (people and money) in the region by:
? Ensuring that staff are appropriately trained and allocated to the work
? Ensuring compliance with EFC rules and regulations
? Conducting staff performance appraisals
? Ensuring that PDP?s are in place and implemented
? Monitoring time and attendance of staff
? Compiling a budget for the region and monitoring expenditure against the budget
? Manages a comprehensive loans acquisition service for the region by:
? Assisting staff with the resolution of difficult queries
? Establishing the relevant controlling procedures
? Accepting responsibility for the clearing of exception reports
? Accepts responsibility for the approval of loans and conducts the necessary risk analysis thereof (Can approve home loans up to R 1 300 000.00)
? Reconciliation of mortgage accounts queries
? Provides a customer care service by:
? Monitoring customer satisfaction
? Performing macro customer management by liaising with Business Unit managers and keeping them updated with EFC matters. Keeping EFC informed of any macro customer requirements
? Conducting of educational presentations to customers when necessary

? Manages service providers (e.g. Assessors, attorneys, insurers) by:
? Monitoring turnaround times
? Monitoring services provided against SLA`s
? Acting on any service provider problems
? Manages micro customers by:
? The establishment and maintenance of constructive and productive relationships with micro customers
? Effectively representing the Region with key micro customers participating in the various communication forums and strategies
? Developing and maintaining strategies to promote the image of Eskom Finance Company with Eskom holdings.
? Co-ordinating and representing the region at sponsored events and functions related to Eskom Finance Company engagement initiatives
