Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- Do Magnetic Particle Inspection by set up and operate magnetic particle inspection. Prepare part for magnetization, induce current as prescribed, spray fluorescent suspension while current is on and visually inspect surface for defects, marking indications of defects for later evaluation. Demagnetize part after inspection
Liquid/ Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
- Do Liquid Penetrant Inspection by apply penetrant, remove with cleaner, apply developer and visually inspect for surface defects.
? Do FPT and visually inspect with ultraviolet lamp for surface defects.
MT, PT,UTG,PMI
MFL Tank Inspection, Long-Range Ultrasonic Testing (LRUT), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Radiography Testing (RT)
