JOB DUTIES
Analyzing, reviewing and assessing the Requirements from the client during planning phase of Software Test Life Cycle (Using agile Model).
Automation Identification for the every Iteration in Application deployment.
Creating the test plan based on the requirements and raising query in artifacts. Coordinating smooth implementation of test plan with the development team.
Preparing Test scenarios, Test design, Automation - Script design for the each release cycle in QC. Setting up the test environment (Hardware, software and network) to execute the test cases. Review and Test data setup for Automation/Manual Test cases.
Involved in various testing methodologies Smoke Testing, Performance testing, and Integration Testing.
Execution of the Manual and Automation test cases in QC and identifying the regression scenarios.
Creating reusable functions in automation testing to improve the quality of testing. (Automation tool used QTP, Ranorex).
Identifying the defects during the Execution and Logging defects in QC. Interaction with developers to fix the defect. Follow up the defects during the stages Open, in development, Pending build, Ready for test (Retesting fix) and Close. Mapping the defect to test cases.
Maintaining Automation Test scripts, Reusable elements, Repository, Test Data, Regression suites in SVN.
Preparing the Signoff document to close the Test Iteration, Communicate with test lead/Manager and conducting the review meetings
