? Maintenance of accurate volunteer personnel records.
? Recruitment & Training Assistance
? Respond to prospective volunteer enquiries and maintain expression of interest list.
? Provide support to Manager Volunteer Services Eastern Health and Recruitment, Training and Administration Coordinator, Eastern Health Volunteer Services
? Assist with volunteer intakes, orientation, training and support of volunteers to ensure adherence to Eastern Health policy, sensitivity to patient and staff rights and volunteer satisfaction.
? Perform Fit2work police checks and maintain Eastern Health volunteer police check spreadsheet.
? Maintain awareness of volunteer issues, responding to and supporting volunteers with issues that may arise and where necessary liaise with the volunteer?s relevant supervisor and/or Manager Volunteer Services, Eastern Health.
? Maintenance and preparation of volunteer rosters and schedules.
? Assist with the support, training and information, as required for other Eastern Health staff who support volunteer services to ensure standardisation of approach across Eastern Health.
? Produce welcome letters, acknowledgement letters, information packs
? Assist Manager Volunteer Services, Eastern Health with co-ordination of volunteer services.
? Promote value of volunteer services to Eastern Health staff and the community.
? Assist with volunteer recognition, service awards, community awards, Eastern Health awards, bi-monthly group birthday afternoon teas and annual thank you event.
