Worked as a phlebotomist for 18 years. three of those years I was a senior phlebotomy trainer where I taught staff from week two to week six blood collection in all methods including capillary, specimen collection for mycology, urine, faeces etc. I worked in solo and team rooms where time management was crucial as well as the ability to stay calm under pressure.
I was made redundant when the company lost the contract.

Career Goals
I enjoy caring for people and working with people in the health sector. My aim now is to become a qualified funeral director as this is a field I am very interested in and it is also a very caring role where a feel for people is necessary. My current study in communication and psychology is aimed for this position. With a nursing background I find little phases me. I am prepared to travel to Hamilton to have a chance of employment
