I work as a microbiology lab intern. I do microbiological analysis of a variety of products, this includes media preparation, the actual analysis of products(enrichment, detection and enumeration of microorganisms in food products) and stock taking.

I worked in chemistry lab and analyzed Patulin (mycotoxin), operated the HPLC machine, analyzed metals on products with the use of ICP OES. I analyzed lactic acid on products and also operated spectrophotometry, refractometer. I also worked in microbiology laboratory and did microbial analysis.

July 2012 to June 2013

I assisted in formulation of new recipes, assisted supervisors in preparing and processing new and reformulated recipes on a pilot plant scale. I worked as part of production team and also as supervisor during factory trials of new products. I also updated and filed specifications and assisted in packaging projects for new products.
