? Sampling of water and beverage samples for analysis.
? Conducting accurate and timeous analysis on beverage and water samples as per procedures/ SOP?s to ensure continuous production.
? I perform raw material analysis as they are delivered.
? Reporting non-conformances timeously.
? Daily Sanitation of lab equipment and laminar flows along with lab surfaces to maintain a safe and hygienic work area.
? I conduct sensory sessions when I am on shift and also assist with proficiency tests.
? Daily equipment calibration and I liaise with external suppliers should issues arise.
? Weekly/monthly sampling of effluent water which is sent to the water lab for analysis.
? Weekly sampling of Air samples across all production lines and lab.
? Maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments in my area of responsibility and ensuring weekly lab and line GMP is conducted and corrective actions are taken.
? Ensuring 5S is maintained in the lab during my shifts at all times.
? Conduct and run departmental meetings.
? Assist with in-house audits.
? Carrying out accurate and timeous analysis of newly developed blown bottles to adhere to specified standards.
? Exposed to the handling of customer complaints for beverages.
? Occasionally act as a Business Systems Coordinator working with SAP and Achiever+ and I assist in the compilation of departmental monthly report if and when required.
? Capturing data/ micro results on infinity and reporting on non-conformances.
? Adherence to Health and Safety Standards and Procedures.
? General filing admin, packing of samples in shelves, labelling of consumables.
