Carry out physical observation and analysis such as moisture content, sodium chloride, sulphate, Ph,calcium,magnesium, specific gravity on our diesel, iodine test on raw.material & finished products.

I ensure the neatness, hygienic and healthy work environment of workers to
ensure that foods, ice creams, etc. Are not contaminated.
? I ensure accurate coding of the products produced.
? I ensure the neatness of the workers that package the products so that there
would not be any contamination of the foods.
? I ensure the workers use their neat coveralls, hair nets, nose masks, hand
gloves. I also ensure that the workers keep their finger nails short and clean, and
that the men don?t grow long beards.
? I ensure that the utensils used for the handling of the food are neat and well
sterilized.
? I weigh each product and take the overrun to ensure that the standard quantity
is packaged. Also the products are re-weighed after packaging to ensure
sustainable quality and quantity.
? I constantly monitor the temperature of the production and packaging rooms to
ensure that the workers are not perspiring and that the temperature favors the
requirement of the individual products. I also constantly monitor the temperature
of the cold room where the products are stored before distribution.
? I also ensure that the workers that handle there foods do not wear heavy and
strong perfumes that may transfer to the foods.
? I collect samples from each batch of production and send to the laboratory for
chemical and microbial tests to be carried out on them.
? In the laboratory, I run the following tests: test run on raw materials, standing
test, PH of water, total acidity of the foods, total solids, Bris, Ashing, Fat content,
moisture, specific gravity, and homogenization.
? I with other Officers also determine the physiochemical properties of the
samples.
? I record the temperatures of the cold room and the different venture
containers.
? I take records of the goods given out to different ventures (business outlets)
with their batch numbers.
? I ensure that vehicles that travel far distances with goods have the temperature
of the vans to at least -18 degree Celsius before any goods will be loaded into
them.
