1. Client Quality Control Inspector / SNR Supervisor in the (Painting/Coating) Department in the OIL& GAS Industry, Onshore and Offshore Angola.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly scheduled turnaround Painting / Coating inspections, tasks being undertaken responsible for assessing the particular hazards at the site leading to a safe system of work, and which could include, but not limited to, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments and Task Based Risk Assessments. Blast & Paint contractor supervision during Turnaround / Shutdown of platforms, pipeline, pressure vessels, offshore vessels,
Responsible for stage wise painting / coating inspection including fireproofing.
Undertake QC / QA for painting / coating activities in the work place on a daily basis.
Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and painting / coating application.
Prepare ?inspection & test plan? (ITP) for specific project / company requirements/ surface preparation and painting / coating procedure
Make Coating recommendations during Turnarounds and Survey of platform, pipeline, pressure vessels, offshore vessels
Execute Painting / coating inspection work as per company / project inspection test plan.
To check and monitor all painting / coating related works and ensure all final products meet in accordance with company procedure, client requirement and international codes.
Responsible for incoming coating / painting material inspection and has to ensure whether these materials suits to meets the requirements of project specifications.
Make sure Blasting and Painting contractor prepare all necessary QA / QC painting / coating documents and handed over to me as client to review and sign of final acceptance certificate.
Review contractor timesheets and sign
Review of calibration status of IMTE items.
To undertake test qualifications for spray painters, brush painter?s hydro blasters & abrasive blasters.
Co-ordinate with the paint manufacturer technical representative on daily basis

Supervise the Blasting & Painting activities with full co-ordination of our company workforce mainly looking after our three national inspectors.
Responsible for the Quality assurance operations of the blasting and painting department for all projects.
Implementing a staff re-organisation with new job descriptions and performance evaluation criteria, in our QA/QC department, identifying and developing training programs and new communication channels as well as process controls and monitoring systems with site manager approval.
The development of all Production Procedures and ITP?S for all Projects, including the overseeing of the Safety Procedures.
