Maintains all necessary payroll reports and journals by accurately preparing all payroll in accordance with accounting and financial controls, and within the policies and procedures of the organisation.- Analyzes financial activities of departments and provide input into the budget planning and preparation.- Ensures compliance with statutory deductions while making sure that all deductions are remitted to the appropriate bodies as at when due.- Ensures that work permits have been obtained for expatriate staff and that the validity of such work permit is regularly verified.-Liaises with the company's tax consultants and relevant tax authorities to avoid tax exposures.-Ensures that on a monthly basis, data generated from the payroll system is reconciled with the general ledger (Balance sheet & P&L)-Ensures all expatriate payrolls are prepared and calculated according to current tax rules.- Ensures that all fringe benefits and allowances are reported for tax purposes in accordance with local law.
