? Reviewing loan proposals above branch limit prepared by branch credit officers.
? Providing the Head Office Credit & Control Committee with a ?second opinion? and directing the Committee?s attention to key issues.
? Analyzing risks and checking compliance to policies and procedures on all cases above branch limit loan proposals before loans are recommended for either approval/rejection to the Credit Committee.
? Participating in implementation of credit aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes and tools to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report risks.
? Portfolio administration to curb non-performing asset and compliance with approval covenants.
? Reviewing credit lines, recommending restructuring and rescheduling of potentially non-performing credit lines.
? Validating of facility defined sanction conditions by the committee on the Letter of Offer before execution.
? Enhancing the Sacco?s visibility through partnering with various Public, Private Sector and Institutional clients through MOU arrangement.
? Verifying details on cases maintained in the system for sanctioning purposes before disbursement is done.
? Preparing monthly reports.
