.Underground observations and mapping of working places (stope and development ends).·
Plotting of mapping: Plot all recorded geological information from underground visit onto 1:200 scale sheets and into computer - plan and in section.·
Structure Interpretation: Identify and determine any throws/displacement on geological features present and give suitable recommendations to mine around/through them.·
Write technical report based on underground mapping observations and interpretations.· Attend various meetings with management and conduct risk assessments.·
Borehole core logging and sampling: Capture core logging and sampling data efficiently and accurately.·
Use of Computer Software: Capturing of protocol sheets in Syncromine, capture borehole data into DH-Logger, Downhole Explorer and Fusion Client.· Plotting of boreholes: Plotting of boreholes drilled (cover or prospect) on 1:200 plans.· Borehole Drilling: Layout boreholes for cover and prospect, etc.·
Grade Control: Verify sampling results; follow up on any sampling value problems and reef characterization.· Administrative responsibilities (filing of all documents, management of drilling contractors data, arrange and take minutes of meetings.
