I am currently associated with the pharmaceutical company i.e GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Ltd.
I am working on a position of Engineering Store Officer. I have a vast experience of inventory management. In addition to this role, some of the additional responsibilities which I currently have are as follows.
Duties:
1. Inventory management of Engineering Warehouse.
2. Ensure to avoid breakdowns due to the absence of required spares by on time replenishment.
3. Ensure to allocate minimum and maximum quantity and maintain.
4. Lead and manage Computerize Maintenance Management System i.e Infor EAM at GSK Korangi Site.
5. Procure items by arranging quotations and negotiations with vendors.
6. Raise Purchase orders and manage pertaining documentation for audit purpose.
7. Opex / Capex Controller / Coordinator.
8. Manage Site Operational expense of Repair Maintenance budget only.
9. Manage departmental assets and responsible to conduct audits.
10. Manage the disposal activities of redundant assets / general engineering scraps with proper documentation.
11. Responsible for managing EHS activities in department.
Achievements :
- Enhance the storage capacity by developing of modified racking system at Engineering Warehouse.
- Implement Kaizen 5S at Site Engineering Warehouse for inventory management.
- Automation of Inventory from excel base to JD Edward System for better tracking and controlling.
- Deploy computerize maintenance management system i.e infor EAM at site to make the paperless environment and effective tracking and maintaining of Site Assets records in-terms of breakdowns, cost analysis for budget preparation of opex / capex.
- Develop and controlled centrally monitored system for better tracking of vendor's payments/invoicing.
