? Conduct & monitoring of condition assessments of mechanical rotational equipment.
? Development and use of baseline condition monitoring parameters using vibration principles (ISO 10816 standards) for mechanical equipment.
? Review scheduled maintenance activities to improve equipment functionality.
? Optimize maintenance resources and keep up to date with current best practices,
? Provide technical support to maintenance team and stakeholders,
? Commissioning of new equipment and / or systems ensuring that the client?s corporate engineering requirements are met,
? Provide technical support in the shutdown planning and execution processes and compile relevant documentation as required,
? Produce equipment/system performance reports as required,
? Assess the operational context of all designated equipment and initiate remedial actions as required.
? Interrogate, assess and source relevant documentation for all equipment within designated area,
? Maintain up to date and accurate information/Library on equipment manuals, drawings, operational data, etc.
? Establishment of equipment baselines in project handovers
? Establish, review and maintain equipment standards and specifications and align with industry best practices,
? Update the relevant Corporate Engineering Specifications and Standards.
? Identify, analyse and report on bad actors within systems,
? Conduct failure analysis on identified equipment making use of RCFA/RCA and or appropriate tools and produce detailed reports on investigations undertaken including recommendations,
? Compile a technical specification and cost estimate for inclusion in future budget based on operational priorities of remedial actions and recommendations.
? Develop a rolling annual mid-term condition monitoring and assessment plan for approval and implementation on an annual basis,
? Assess and analyse the physical condition of equipment making use of basic and advanced NDT techniques / technologies, and produce a condition status report with clearly defined programs of action including priorities,
? Design, develop, configure and implement allocated projects from source documentation to fully operational plant and equipment, including appointment of contractors, project and management and administration,
? Compile scope of work, technical specifications and cost estimates of projects and assist the plant and other departments with budgets for technical equipment
? Implement modifications and ensure that the requirements fall within the scope of the regulations.
