Dear Madam/ Sir,
I have four years of experience of teaching as an Assistant Professor in COMSATS University, Lahore, Pakistan. I have taught Introduction to Psychology (Dual Degree Program affiliated with Lancaster University, UK), Social Psychology, Sociology, and Mental Health and Psychopathology courses to undergraduate students. I have also provided Cognitive Behavior Therapy to MVA clients suffering from depression, anxiety, and PTSD for one year and counselling and guidance to university students regarding their career decisions and personal issues for four years.
My areas and interest falls in personality, health sociology and social psychology. My published worked deals with Pakistani immigrants? stress, role of personality in optimism, domestic violence, perceptions of autonomy and freedom among immigrant women, role of irrational beliefs in psychopathology, and learning English and Afghan refugees in well-reputed journals.
