? Works as a member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for implementing Operations plans focusing on sustained, reliable and Safe Production of the plant within preset operating windows.
? Ensures production activities are conducted with no harm or injury to persons or loss of containment to the environment.
Activities:
? Operates units of the Crude oil Stabilization Plant for crude oil production and the Central Processing Facility (CPF), for gas production.
? Works to be a safety leader at all levels within the plant.
? A reliable member of ERT team and a trained DFA to handle emergencies to minimize impact to personnel, and the environment.
? Works with third parties during work permit reviews for completeness before such permits are approved. Such reviews may include hazard and mitigation identification.
? Familiar with well head valve tests/verification procedures and annulus pressure/leak checks on wells.
? Participates in the investigations of abnormal operating situations when required and liaises with SMEs/OEMs when such persons and inputs are required especially for complex operational challenges.
? Ensures chemical requirement for our operations are met by prompt update of stock cards.
? Conducts fire water system weekly test-run and fire extinguisher monthly checks as approved and liaises with Managers/Team Leads when there are concerns.
? Maintains a healthy and effective communication interface with other departments and disciplines to ensure site-wide production plans are effectively executed.
? Participates in the management of change (MOC) for plants when required.
? Participates in updating FLM Log sheet document within the plant
? Works to ensure compliance with internal and external standards in use within the plant.(Quality, HSSE, MOC, PTW etc.)
? Participates in daily toolbox and YTT meetings where daily tasks and activities are discussed before work begins every day.
? Participates in reviews for incidents or near misses and lessons learnt
? Implements start-up and shut down operational procedures for the plant in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
? Understands the workings of the wellheads for both the single (Tango) or double (Lima/Serra) string modes
? Familiar with the operations and the use of bean/chokes both at the manifolds and at the wellheads
? Familiar with production upset scenario and the workings of the knock-out drums in the flare system blow down lines
? Conducts OPS-WIT operations on wells and provides well data to the Lead Supervisor on duty
? Familiar with pumps, scrubber, separators, coolers, after-coolers and compressors and the workings of back pressure valves and controllers as well as the fuel gas systems in a crude oil & gas production plant
? Familiar with the SAP, SCADA system during well tests operations and production optimization activities
? Understands Emerson?s DCS/PLC operations logic systems for remote operation of the plant.
? Participates in daily first line maintenance checks for process optimization, as well as other field operational checks for level, temperature and pressure to ensure the plant is within defined operating range.
? Performs equipment isolation, draining, purging/venting prior to hand over for maintenance or for long term isolation/decommissioning purposes.
? Performs equipment reinstatement after maintenance is completed or at the end of long term isolation.
? Responds to all safety critical alarms in the facility.
