Working at Power Construction I was exposed to three different construction sites. The three sites were the housing projects at Pelican Park and Sitari and the road construction project of Vlaeberg road. The work done during this period was time and motion studies of operations, building of BNG houses, cost analysis of certain operations as well as health and safety investigations.

NSE is the only Nuclear Engineering firm in South Africa. I was exposed to both technical and practical aspects. Such aspects include analytical analysis done on certain structures given by the supervising engineer, subsurface surveys as well as re-torqueing of the sample aseismic bearing rigs stored in the Aseismic Vault at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station.
