Career Goals

I have a Diploma in Financial Management from Majuba College and I am currently completing my final two N6 subjects in Human Resource Management Diploma and currently awaiting my Project Management Certificate from Project Management South Africa. Ultimately I would pursue an honours degree in Human Resource Management. The experience that is relevant to this position was gained as Finance and Human Resource Officer at the S E Vawda primary school in Newcastle. My job entailed working unsupervised to complete critical tasks in terms of the school?s finances as well as human resource management. I was entrusted with handling large amounts of cash and preparing budgets which is left to my discretion and know how. I am essentially self thought and I complete critical tasks within deadlines and with accuracy. Due to the trust that I have earned, I had been elected as a member of the school?s governing body. My position required that I maintain high levels of confidentiality, excellent interpersonal and staff/student relationship skills as well as excellent administrative skills. I have further enhanced my communication skills, both written and verbal. To add to my array of skills acquired, I enjoy working with people, have a friendly disposition, possess the ability to work as part of a team and I can work accurately with attention to detail. I have all the soft skills to make a success in the Human Resource field.
