While in Family Strengthening Program, I was managing a community support program assisting 350 families living under extremely vulnerable conditions - mostly HIV infected, in surrounding areas in Maputo. Support included primary health care for children and caregivers, access to formal education for 1500 children, design, implement and supervise self-sufficiency and CBO development programs for caregivers and other community structures to ensure program sustainability.
As Institutional Partnership Development National Coordinator, my major responsibility was to Support SOS Children?s Villages Mozambique to succeed in Institutional Partnership Development to secure new financial resources to support the Organizations Programs in Maputo, Inhambane, Sofala, Manica, Tete and Pemba. That included identify funding opportunities in the region and globally, support SOS Mozambique in writing quality proposals that meet donor requirements and develop and maintain good relationship with donors ensuring regular communication and effective reporting.
