Job Description
Fitting and maintenance of couplings (flexible rigid )
Working on gearboxes, cuplings, conveyor belts and motors
Overhauling and Service of pumps & gearboxes.
Maintenance of crushers (jaws and cone)
Repairs and maintenance of conveyors ( belt , screw , bucket )
Maintenance of screens, vibrators and grizzly
Investigate, diagnose and perform trade related maintenance and repairs to equipment and machinery according to the maintenance requirement
Perform inspection in accordance with the Mine health and safety Act ,regulations , manufacturing and company standards
Report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to the foreman
Develop, modify, construct and install related equipment required for the safe operation on all engineering equipment Identify spares requirements and order according to departmental procedure
Ensuring high plant availability.
Observing and practicing Occupational , health and safety
Worked with Lathe and milling machines
