-open a job card before starting with the service or breakdown
-complete the job card when finished with the breakdown or service
-ensure that the inspection are made
-test drive the vehicle
-ensure that the necessary administration and reporting are complete
-supervises the work of mechanics assistance
-deals with unacceptable behavior or performance
-escalates serious offence to the supervisor
-allocates relevant housekeeping task to the mechanical assistants and ensures completion thereon.
