I am the acting M/O for section 336 L which is the Tramming section of Mponeng Mine where I am responsible for the Hauling of ore from the stope boxes to shaft transfer boxes, my team consist of 200 workers which are mainly loco drivers and construction crew that do the maintenance on rails and water reticulation system.
I were also acting M/O for section 1000 which is the secondary support section together with section1702 which consist of the rehab and opening up of 81 & 75 level and the blasting and preparing of the raise bore sights from 89 level down to 116 level
In conjunction with my production targets I need to achieve our safety targets and need to work with my planed budget and control it cost effectively to meet targets and possible savings towards my company.
PRODUCTION SHIFT OVERSEER DEVELOPMENT.
I am responsible for development in flat ends and in raises, I was part of initial implementation of HPE hydro power drill rig for sect 1507 which was very successfully done. I also do my sections labor planning and man all shifts accordingly, good communication is essential in my work to make sure that production ? safety ? cost can be controlled and status being communicated to all shifts.
In conjunction with my production targets I need to achieve our safety targets and need to work with my planed budget and control it cost effectively to meet targets and possible savings towards my company.
I acted numerous occasions as M/O in development sections with good results and safety achievements monthly.
