Officer- Asset Finance Department
? Prepare and dispatch letters of offer with all the required documentation marked correctly for ease of execution by client;
? Prepare chattels mortgage agreements and forward the same to bank's advocate for registration;
? Forward Guarantee & Indemnity forms to the bank's advocate for registration;
? Receive and verify executed documents and open client files;
? Do call backs to insurance companies to confirm details provided in the insurance confirmation form;
? Liaise with clients, dealers, Relationship teams and branches on pending documents;
? Forward logbooks and transfer documents to KRA for joint registration; ensure proper e-slips are obtained;
? Maintain documents in registry; carry out follow up and provide recommendations on expired approvals;
? Deal with customer queries - advising the customer on the progress of documentation and finalization
? Ensure requirements in agreements/letters of offer are met and securities are in order;
? Ensure all required charges including credit life cover premiums, appraisal fees, etc are collected before disbursement;
? Provide recommendations to hold or release or any changes in agreement;
? Prepare release order for review by supervisor; providing feedback to dealer/customer;
? Prepare loan disbursement templates and ensure relevant booking is done and cheque/RTGS released to dealer accordingly;
? Update the Advances Disbursed Book register upon loan disbursement
Loan Processing/Appraisal
? Receive record and process Hire Purchase applications.
? Interview prospective customers; and obtaining relevant background information;
? Perform reference checks with CRB and provide credit rating report;
? Do call backs on bank statements provided by applicants from other banks;
? Prepare write-up for review by supervisor and approval by credit committee; providing customer with feedback on decision made;
? Analyze audited accounts and complete the CPS risk rating for clients with exposure of Kes.10Million and above
? Update and/or input the necessary decision in the appraisal register; maintain documents in the approval/regret registry;
Credit Officer-Credit Department

? Recovery of loans and overdrafts.
? Exclusion and transfer of bad debts and good debts.
? Assessed credit risk and client viability (current and potential), analyzing financial statements and cash flow of customers.
