1. Conducting practicals, preparing reagents and ensuring good laboratory practice in the laboratory.
2. Ensuring proper and acceptable standards of practicals are maintained in the laboratory.
3. Making recommendation with respect to practical?s being administered to students in all programs.
4. Preparation of practical reports done by the students within the school.
5. Ensuring proper waste disposal from the laboratories.
6. Adhere to ISO 9001:2008 Standard Procedures within the laboratories.
7. Preparing various Standard Operation Procedures within the laboratory.
8. Participating in budget preparations for the laboratory.
9. Assisting the chief technologist in the day to day activities in the laboratory.
10. Reviewing practical manuals for the laboratories when necessary.
11. Mentoring other laboratory technologists.
12. Performing any other duty that may be assigned to me from time to time by my immediate supervisor.
