Process full cycle payroll for 450 salaried and hourly employees
Input new hires, re-hires, terminations and company attendances
Resolve any issue related to the payroll and benefits; answer and reply to daily telephone and email inquiries
Keep track of presences, vacation, Sick Leave and Overtime to calculate employee pay and benefits to which they are entitled
Coordinate group benefits; Insurance, Company Pension Plan and all other employees? benefits
Coordinate required information requests between payroll and Human Resource
Prepare invoices and letters for employees on medical or maternity leave for their portion of premiums and make changes to employee coverage as required
Liaison with third parties, setting up and administer garnishments
Prepare reports and pay employee?s commission and reconcile the account
Prepare payroll journal entries in the accounting system
Process month end, accruals, reconciles and analyzes the payroll register and general ledger each month
Prepare cheques for all remittances
Prepare management reports as required
Prepare Payroll Budget monthly and yearly
Responsible for all Year-end functions, including T4?s, R1, T4A?s, T2200?s, T5, R3, CSST and EHT
