Responsibilities .
- arrange the inbound transhipment / oncarriage of cargo via south africa to final destination. Ensure all required documents have been received and processed in the required time frame. .
- ensure transhipment status is regularly updated per shipment. (within the sheduled outbound frequency or less) .
- query resolution. .
- ensure that shipments are moved to final destination asap and remain within advertised frequency. .
- educate agents to utilize track and trace facility for status updates and tracking of cargo. .
- ensure acquittals are received from service provider. .
- fcms - file content management system. .
- fcms - acquittal filing. .
- process creditors over-boarder invoices for payment. .
- invoice over-boarder files. .
- cost over-boarder files. .
- clear sentry reports on a daily basis. .
- update track and trace facility for all via south africa transhipment carg. Details include ata /unpack date and release to the consignee date. Educate outbound agent to also update track and trace. .
- calling customers to secure cargo. .
- control movement of cargo to states warehouse within prescribed time frame. .
- emails - reading and replying to emails within 24 hours of receipt and assigning emails. .
- back up for appointed buddy. ( assist when employees are away from work - handle their desk. ) .
